Limited Use Code database for Ontario DBF/CDI Unlike previous versions of 3 selectable databases, I would generate only the most popular combined one, as memory usage is much less of a concern nowadays. LUREADME.TXT - this file LUCvXXX.pdb - Limited Use Code, searchable by brand or generic name INSTALLATION: If you do not have LIST database program, download "list115.zip" from http://www.lowtek.ca/list/?page_id=6 install "list.prc" and "LUCvXXX.pdb" into your Palm. If you are already using LIST program, you just need to install "LUCvXX[your choice].pdb". The first time you open the Limited Code database, go to the top right corner of the screen, and change the category from "Unfiled" to "LU" (in the combined database, you can use "BR" for brand name, "GE" for generic, or "ALL" for both). TIPS ON USING LU DATABASE: -To find a drug, just start writing on the Graffiti. It will search as you type the first few characters. -You can customize the database and create your own "Quick List" for the most frequently used drugs. Select the drug, go to "Edit", and change the category (in the top right corner) from "LU" to "QuickList". You can then view the database using the "QuickList" category for your own list of selected drugs. -You can also import the info into other programs such as eProcrates. Select the drug, go to "Edit", highlight the text, select "Copy" from menu or use the copy shortcut command. You can then go to eProcrates notes section and "Paste" the Limited Use code information. The database is meant for quick reference, and not as a substitute for the formulary. To save space, only the actual code description are included; some of the preceding explanatory notes (such as that for Ticlid) are left out.
